Vacation... What vacation....

So our vacation didn't exactly go as I had hoped it would. We flew out of SLC on thursday and after we got of the plane parker started complaining his ear hurt. After and hour it was a full blown cry. I couldn't get him to stop so I took him to the insta-care place in portland and about 2 min before the Doctor came to get him he stopped crying and said I guess I feel better now. I took him in anyway and the Dr. said the pressure from the plane must have been built up and it poped right before we got in and his inner ear was all bloody. So that was the first day of our trip.
The day after we got to montana Parker triped and landed mouth first on my moms glass coffee table. He managed to cut most of the gums off his front teeth as well as some muscle that is in the front of your mouth. He knocked his four front teeth loose and now has constant tooth aches from having all the roots of his teeth exposed. And everytime I looked at him, I swear, it started it bleed. The dentist did say that everything should grow back and tighten up his teeth, however they will turn a nice gray color. I hear that gray is the new white! Anyway other than that the trip was good and it was super fun to see everyone. Also the new sushi place in hamilton is way good so that was a plus.

Sounds like a blast! All that cutting and sewing sounded really fun too! I bet you just can't wait to visit again. Emily likes her hair, and so do I.... oh yeah.... I was also glad to see you!!!

I feel so bad about Parker. Poor little guy. At least he is cute enough to make gray look good :)

I loved our sushi night out. I've been dreaming of more egg rolls.

Oh my! Jac....too bad I didn't get to hear any of the stories first hand because I was such a spaz the other day when I talked to you. Sounds like a nightmare....poor Parker, and poor Jac!

Oh bummer- but what's a trip without drama? I'm sorry I didn't catch up with you. Conflicts came up. Argh. But we'll be your way in a couple weeks!

Ohhh, I'm so sorry. What a vacation. Savannah had an accident kind of like that...except it was our fault. She was like 4 months old and she was just sitting in her car seat...she wasn't buckled in. Well Joe didn't know that and he went to pick her up and when he rocked it forward it kinda launched her out of her seat. Owie. Her little mouth bled, couldn't tell from where really. But when her front teeth came in one was gray. Sad sad day. Then we had to have to removed which is why she sports braces at 3 years old. All I could tell myself as the dentist is telling me we've got to pull it is "they aren't permanent teeth"
