Last days of summer

We decided after a month away from hamilton that it was time to go back. Our first outing was music in the park. We packed lunches invited the orr kids to come and spent a cold day at the park. Partway thru the people behind us had to move because of our noise! oops.. We just have too much fun together.

Me and the best mother in the world

Nina and Mckenzie (ninas friend) getting Parker to eat

There will be more posts to come from our exciting trip.

Hi Jaclyn! I was glad to hear from you! How are you surviving among all those Mormons? I'm sorry I missed your visit.. (truthfully, we really were just skipping church for a few weeks!) Actually, a funny thing happened and I ended up speaking in Sacrament meeting in Jackpot, Nevada on our way home! There were only 6 adults at church, besides us, and the speakers didn't show, so they asked us to get up and talk!

How's Jim's job going? Is he still eating out at Burger King every night?

It was so good to see you . . . TWICE on your visit. Next time you come up we need to get a group together and go out for some fun. I'm sending you "I LOVE being surrounded by Mormons 24/7" vibes. I hope they reach you.

I hope we Mormons aren't too aweful!! :) I'm glad you got to go home again for a visit. Parker is going to learn to be an excellent road tripper!!

I'm so glad that you have a blog! It will be so nice to stay in touch! I didn't even get to say hi when you were here =( I only knew you were there when I happened to glance over my shoulder once during Sac. Meeting! But you know what it's like being in the 'primary zone'! I have a little bit of an idea how much you must miss your family, having fairly recently moved away from mine, but I don't have any great words of wisdom on how to get past it! If you have any for me, I could still use some help two years later!

Hey! How fun I have a new blog buddy! It was lots of fun to see you. Savannah was so excited to see parker in nursery. I heard about there emotional embrace when he came into class. She dearly loves him. Thanks for finding me! I love that I can keep in touch with you.
