Sassy

First off I don't know why my child cannot make a normal face when taking a picture but there you go.
The first session of swim lessons actually went really well. We had one that was sort of a disaster but after that we take him and practice the night before and on the weekends and that has really helped. We are on to our second round of lessons and the first one was a complete disaster... lots of tears and wailing about how he didn't want to go into the water. I made him sit on the side and just watch his class and occasionally the teacher would make him get in and he would cry. Yeah super fun to watch! So about five minutes before the hellish lesson was over he hoped into the water played a game with the class and then said to me " I don't want to get out this was so much fun!" I seriously wanted to kill him! I said " well honey when we cry all through lessons we don't get to stay and play" He has vowed that tomorrow he will have a good lesson. We shall see....
So today we went to cooper's Doctor apt and as we were leaving Parker decided to go out ahead of us and open the door and as he darted to the front office he turned to me and cooper and said "see ya suckers" and took off to get a drink of water from the fountain. I love when he quotes movies but I could have gone without that line! I'm sure the ladies in the office thought I was a super classy mom with my little four year old saying that.
The other morning he woke up with one side of his hair sticking up and and the other half super flat to his head and I said " you should probably go fix your hair before we go out today" He went to the mirror and took a look then turned to me with this look on his face and said " Mom that's totally my style" Who am i to take that away so we left the house with his crazy bedhead hair.
Last sassy little Parker moment was when i asked him what he wanted for lunch and he said
" sunny eggs" (yes he likes sunny side up eggs and i find it really disgusting). I said " well you had that for breakfast wouldn't you like something else?" So he asked me to name some things. After I gave him a list of things we could have for lunch he said
"Nope it's sunny eggs for sure... So go and enjoy your cooking"

That kid cracks me up. Go and enjoy your cooking! What a turkey. The other day Oliver asked me to get him something - ok, ordered me to get him something. Then he looked at Evie and laughed, "Moms have to do everything!" Maybe it's a good thing our two boys are separated by an ocean. They could cause some trouble together.
