Mamma's girl

For the first few years of life I wanted nothing to do with anyone but my mother. I would go to no one but her. I have an uncle who never babysat another child again because of the pain I inflicted on him because he was of course not my mother. My mother has made me who I am today. She taught me it's ok to stay home from school sometimes and have a happy meal if it makes you feel better. She taught me that when your kid says 9x9=18 that its time to cut off the cable. She also taught me that sometimes life isn't fair and you just need to buck up, take a walk and learn to move on. She taught me that Ugg boots are ugly but so so worth it! She taught me the value of hairspray and what it can do not only for your hair but also as a stain remover. She taught me about star and people magazine and that it's ok to just escape into celeb reality. But she also taught me the value of good books and to love to read. She showed me what it was to love and what a great marriage truly is. She taught me to sacrifice for my children and to love them no matter what they do or say. She taught the value of giving to others even when you will have nothing left for yourself. She taught me the lesson of forgiveness and what it means truly forgive and forget. She shows me on a daily basis what it is to truly have a testimony of Christ. There is one thing in my life that I know for sure is that I am a mamma's girl and will always be one. Happy Birthday Mom I love you.

What they all said. Your mom is amazing- really. It's funny how different lives are... and how much we learn from our momma's.

I about freaked when I saw her birth year on FB- I had no idea! I mean, I knew, but it didn't click. :)

I love Scorpio's though- we're weirdly cool! ;)
